• To add a YouTube video, look at the end of the YouTube link and you’ll find its tag. That’s what you put in the tag field of the front matter.
  • The uploadDate can be found below the YouTube video on their site.
  • The title and description can be as you wish.

Including YouTube videos in your .md file

Wherever you want the video to appear, use the following syntax:

(((ytvideo-make-me-smile))) 

So, the tag is surrounded by three brackets and starts with ytvideo- and after that you enter the tag you used for the video in your front matter (make-me-smile in the above example).
